I thought this was a very touching story about how you returned a favor. I once witnessed a man in line come up one dollar short and I gave him the dollar. I know he really appreciated it, but I tell you what. I was the one who felt great for weeks. It only took one lousy dollar, but it is the concept that I think really counts.

I really enjoyed what you posted here. I totally agree with you when it comes to having time for yourself when you’re single. I just recently broke up with my boyfriend due to a lot of misunderstandings and how he wants to get married now and have kids when I haven’t even started my career yet. And I had already sacrificed a lot for him but he still wanted more. He never understood, and I decided it was never going to work out.

It does hurt but at the same time it feels liberating, because I have not had a breather for about 4 to 5 years just to catch my breath and have time to myself.

I found this post of yours because I was feeling a bit down but I knew I can be happy again and reading this just made me feel so much better.
